Invalid installation

Question: I downloaded a later version of Geoida from the web site, and before installing it I uninstalled the previous version using Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel. But now when I go to run Geoida it tells me the installation is invalid.

Answer: This may occur if all of the Geoida job databases and other data files were stored elsewhere than in the Geoida Data folder so that the uninstall process was not able to remove the old installation completely. For registered installations, select the Validate option in the Help menu and re-enter your registration details exactly as shown on your Geoida Registration form. If you have not yet registered Geoida it will be necessary to contact Convergent Computations Pty Ltd to obtain a code to reset the installation.
