Point falls outside geoid interpolation area

Question: Geoida extracted a windowed subset of the original geoid file specified in Job Configuration and when adding new points it might sometimes say "Selected point falls OUTSIDE of current geoid interpolation window - will re-evaluate" and would re-window the geoid data and interpolate for each new point. However I have now added more points further to the east of the original area of the job, but when interrogating any of those points it just says that the point falls outside the area and it won't then interpolate any geoid values.

Answer: The original geoid file from which the window had been created does not extend far enough to include the points at the eastern extremity of the job. Try specifying a geoid file that covers a larger extent or one that makes a better coverage of the area required.
